Making those all important conversions
Do you ever think to yourself that if you could just have the chance to meet some of your potential clients and show them what your product/service is all about, you could make far more conversions? In a world of digital marketing, it can sometimes feel impossible to portray your business, its ethos and everything you have to offer online. We are here to help give you some tips on how to get people from being aware of your business to being advocates of it.

Generally, as humans, we enjoy in person interactions as this helps us to build trust and relationships. Although we can get a huge amount of information and evaluate all of our different options online, it doesn’t quite compare to being there in person. Of course digital marketing is extremely important as it is often the first port of call when researching a new product/service, but remember to always include call to actions that encourage people to actually come and visit you or trial your product.
If you offer a service:
Encourage people to come in and have a chat, meet the team and ask any questions they might have. Services are generally a bit harder to successfully “show-off” digitally as they require more than just a picture or quick video to sell. If you can get people through the door to actually meet your team and see your premises, you will have a higher chance of conversion.
If you are able to, these options can be really beneficial:
Put on an open day
Host an event
Create a community where current customers can talk to prospective customers
If you offer a product:
Consider going to industry relevant expos or fairs to allow people to see, feel and try your product in person. If you get the opportunity to talk to people about your product, why you created it and why it is so important to you, this can often resonate with potential customers and encourage a conversion.
Some other ways to get your product in front of people include:
Offer a discount for a first order
Do a pop-up shop in a different location to where you are based
Collaborate with another local business
Of course there are plenty of marketing techniques you can use to bolster the likelihood of conversions, but using digital marketing to encourage more people to see or try your product or service in person is a really great place to start.
